A warm, confidential and non-judgemental space where you can talk openly, feel heard and begin to make sense of whatever you're going through.

About Me

Hello, I'm Lisa

I'm Lisa, a qualified counsellor and BACP Registered Member based in Bangor, County Down.

I work with adults who may be experiencing anxiety, overthinking, low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, grief, life changes, or simply feeling overwhelmed by everything they're carrying.

My approach is integrative, with a person-centred foundation. This means our sessions are shaped around you and what you need. I'm not here to tell you what to do, but to offer a warm, non-judgemental space where you can talk openly, explore what's happening for you and begin to understand yourself a little better.

I offer face-to-face counselling in Bangor, as well as online and telephone sessions.

How I Can Help

You don't have to figure it all out alone

Anxiety & Overthinking

That constant hum of worry, or a mind that won't switch off. Together we can explore what's driving it, understand the patterns around it and find what helps you cope.

Low Self-Esteem & Self-Doubt

If you're often hard on yourself, question your decisions or feel as though you're never quite enough, we can gently explore where these feelings may come from and how they affect you now.

Relationship Difficulties

Whether it's a romantic relationship, family or friendships, counselling can give you space to explore what's happening, recognise patterns and understand what you need from your relationships.

Grief & Loss

Grief can take many forms and doesn't follow a timetable. Counselling offers a space to make sense of your loss and whatever feelings come with it, at your own pace.

Life Changes

Changes in relationships, work, family or other areas of life can leave you feeling unsettled or unsure of what comes next. Counselling can give you space to explore what this change means for you.

Feeling Overwhelmed

When everything feels like too much and you're not sure where to start, counselling can offer a quiet space to slow things down, untangle what you're carrying and begin to make sense of it.
